Housed in a lined, air-conditioned, dustproof container decorated with vibrant Aboriginal artwork, each box includes a state-of-the-art rooftop DJI drone system, advanced monitoring and control stations, secure storage, and full safety gear.
Participants learn to operate beginner through advanced drones, progressing toward formal licensing and professional aerial work. The program enables local people to provide services like environmental mapping, fire and land monitoring, agricultural surveys, and commercial filming — creating real employment and business opportunities.
Supported by specialist training and permanent community ownership, each box helps build a long-term, self-sustaining local workforce while promoting economic independence and technical skills on-country.
